Summer Fading, Hollywood Sees Fizzle - New York Times

Hollywood may be — just maybe — putting together finally the idea that their films aren't flopping because of file-sharing but rather because they suck on toast.

I have no faith that they'll actually fix what's broken, but at least the New York Times has actually taken the bold step of announcing that this emperor has no clothes.
