Women have more sexual partners than men | Marie Claire: "The survey also revealed that a quarter of women who answered the poll had slept with over 10 people, compared with a fifth of men. Those questioned also admitted that they were not always faithful to their other halves – half confessed they had strayed at one time, whereas a quarter said they had been at the receiving end of a cheating boyfriend."

Skeptically, I have to say that the 25% of survey participants who say they'd been cheated on were just the ones fortunate enough to find out. The real numbers must certainly be higher.

Yet deep down, there's a little voice inside me who knows the 2:1 ratio is spot on. It too sits up at night with an extra laptop it doesn't use and never wanted, patiently collecting data that supports its kooky little theories on human interaction while it's waiting for an Ubuntu ISO to finish downloading.
