These Eyes

"The hurting's on me, but I will never be free." Both flights I took back to Seattle showed Bee Movie. I am truly beginning to feel sickened at the engineers who have developed the sophisticated eye-rendering software that films use these days.

I have seen these eyes before in someone I used to know, and seeing them recreated inside of a children's movie moves me greatly, yet at the same time makes me feel cheapened and hollow. It succeeds in crudely manipulating my emotions. This ordinarily inconsequential image will haunt me for a long time to come.
