Cartoon Network's The Venture Bros. first season finale put The Monarch behind bars for a crime he didn't commit. The show went into reruns for over a calendar year while Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick scrambled to go make more episodes once the suits finally decided they'd pay for a Season Two. In 2005, IGN got their mitts on an MP3 cover of "Hard Candy Christmas" as performed by The Monarch, 21, and 24. As it turns out, making impromptu Christmas songs doesn't require a lengthy animatic process that involves shipping stuff to Korea.

Of course I still have my copy. I ran into it whilst looking for a live version of Flight of the Conchords's "Business Time". What's really awesome is that it's still online. The 2004 Christmas song, in which Dr. Girlfriend and The Monarch duet "Little Drummer Boy", is also around.
