New Horror Podcast

You're going to want to be sitting down when you listen to the maiden broadcast of Pseudopod, the new horror fiction podcast from the likes of Mur Lafferty. I listened to it a second time on the way home from work tonight and I appreciated it even more than I did the first time. Enjoy Bag Man, by Scott Sigler. To wit:

"Nobody wants to die, especially the way the Bag Man kills you: death by massive brain hemorrhaging. No external wounds, no broken bones, no internal bleeding other than the head. Coroners said the victims' brains looked like they'd been cooked in a microwave. A real mess. I saw one of those brains. 'Microwave' wasn't my choice of descriptive kitchen appliances. I preferred 'a blender set on purée'. I saw a coroner open up a victim's skull with one of those spooky bone saws. Fucker's brain spilled out like a damn milkshake. I wasn't surprised to see most everyone lose their lunch, but the coroner puked, too. The coroner. You know it's some sick-ass shit when the fucking coroner pukes."
