Why They Have Hackathons

OpenBSD development happens in bursts. There are concentrated efforts of developers who meet a few times a year called hackathons. When developers get together, they wind up with things like true VPN failover with IPsec: "Many great things came out of the hackathon, one very important achievement is the support for true failover VPNs using IPsec.
