This Isn't the America I Remember

Proof:

Librarian runs university library. FBI says "We want to confiscate 30 of your computers as evidence." Librarian says "You need a warrant to do that." FBI says "OK, we'll go get one." Feds obtain a warrant and the computers go away. And afterwards, people consider the whole thing newsworthy.

I'm sorry, people. This is how government is supposed to work. FBI wants evidence, FBI gets warrant, FBI serves warrant, life goes on. Everybody knows that old TV cop show cliché: "You can't come in here without a warrant!" "We can get one."
