an icepick through the keyhole: Miserable TV Execs

If I had to pick the lowest form of life on the planet, it would be a tie between telemarketers who refuse to hang up when you tell them you want to be put on the Do Not List and television executives.

The executives would probably win, and LiveJournal user khaosworks tells us why:

"[D]espite excellent reviews, [the UPN series] Nowhere Man got cancelled and replaced by Homeboys in Outer Space and Moesha."

He's also waiting for the Cupid series DVDs. Keep waiting, dude. Cupid was ABC's light-side counterpart to the eerie and underlit Fox series Brimstone, which would kick Jeremy Piven's ass any day of the week.

Speaking of cancelled Fox shows, when, oh, when are they going to put those five episodes of Profit out on DVD?

I don't know if you saw this, but Nowhere Man is coming out on DVD soon.
