State of the Arp

The long version:

Router misconfigurations suck. Router configurations that are on the surface quite sane but, because of a neutrino buildup or what-have-you, don't elicit the desired, expected effect, suck harder.

So at some point in the next few days, I think I'm going to wipe my router (current uptime: 191 days, 17 hours, 46 minutes) and start from scratch. Don't panic: backups will be made.

I'm hoping that a freshly re-written /etc/pf.conf will fix my HTTP + DNS problems. I regret having to modify my DNS info so much, but I'd rather play it safe than drop any more services than I already have. Profuse thanks go to Monk for letting me piggyback my DNS needs on his hardware and bandwidth until this gets sorted out.
