Boing Boing: Awesome Chinese cryptographers didn't get US visas for tech conference

The Chinese researcher who cracked MD5 didn't get a visa to attend a conference in the United States. That's interesting in itself, but I noticed that the link was sent into Boing Boing by "Dan", who is Dan Kaminsky, the guy who wrote Paketto Keiretsu, among other things.

I recently ran across some posts by Dan on Fark the other day, and I'm beginning to wonder just how many more sites we both frequent. If I find him posting stuff to Slashdot that's one thing, but I hope he's not going to turn up on Richard's Realm or The Sexeteria.
