Taking All Bets
I'm going to try to finesse Linus Torvalds's "not-an-SCM tool" SCM tool, "git", onto an OpenBSD machine. Who thinks I'll actually succeed? I'm givin' odds.
Update: It appears that I have produced a method by which an OpenBSD-current system can run git and/or Codeville without requiring a lot of swearing. It heavily relies on OpenBSD's excellent selection of pre-compiled binary packages and a few modifications to the git source: one change to the Makefile and a ':%s/>&/\>/g' to /usr/local/bin/git. I have amazed even myself at succeeding in doing this inside of two hours.
