Surprisingly
Surprisingly, the Linux-2.6 kernel source is not as enormous as I was expecting. Both git and Codeville can compress it down to about 100MB. git currently weighs it in at 94.2MB, Codeville at 105MB. I'd like to keep an up-to-date repository for both of them, just to run basic versioning tests, but I simply don't have the luxury of space and speed to commit to such a huge data store.
And to think a single 20GB hard disk would solve most of my problems. Sometimes, it sucks to work for a non-profit.
