Signs You Are Maybe Working Too Hard
I am about to throttle another vendor. They ask me for information, let's call it "A". "A" is also known as "B". A and B are the same thing. They've been asking for A, also known as B, repeatedly. For about a week now. I keep e-mailing A, also known as B, to them.
So today, I get yet another request to send them A. I dutifully send them A. I even use part of the vendor rep's message in my reply, copied and pasted, so that the terminology is exactly identical. She then mails me back and asks for B.
I think I need some time off. I say this because I had a brief fantasy of tatooing the information that is A, also known as B, on our vendor rep's face. Backwards, of course, so she could see it every time she looked in a mirror. Then I thought, "Hey, why settle for a tattoo? I could just burn it into her skin with acid."
Whoa.
That's kind of hardcore.
And the really scary part?
It made me smile.
