When I Said "Joe Sent Me", Someone Laughed Out Loud Behind the Green Door

Apparently my favorite coffee grower was in town last November and no one told me:

"Aida sells to Counter Culture Coffee, based in Durham, North Carolina, to Sweet Maria's, based in San Francisco, and to a handful of roasters in Europe and Japan through Direct Trade guidelines. The waiting list to import her coffee is long, and she maintains a firm policy of only selling to buyers whom she has not only met but also respects."

One of those buyers appears to be Stumptown, who regularly throws "Meet the Producers" events in Portland and Seattle, but I couldn't find anywhere to sign up to find out more about these events before they happen.

Maybe it's an exclusive club that involves a password and a secret handshake.
