Funny Word, This "Phlegm"

I find the word "phlegm" quite funny because you don't say half of its letters. The G is silent, and the P and the H aren't pronounced like a "puh" or a "huh" sound.

These are the thoughts that occur to me while I'm home sick over the weekend. I skipped the annual holiday party because I was feeling so very bleh, but to do something for the anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition, I split a Monk's Cafe with Monk and mixed up White Russians for us while I did my holiday shopping.

It's cool to be employed over the holidays. Unlike last year.

I woke up feeling worse than yesterday, but a couple of hours ago I started to feel a lot better. Hopefully I'll be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for Monday.
