Sense and Sensibility
Warren Ellis writes Fell, a story about a police detective who's a cross between Sherlock Holmes and every other Ellis protagonist in creation.
In one particular story, Detective Fell interrogates a man who is a suspected sniper. Drawing on his perceptions about the man's sensibilities, Fell uses auditory language in talking to him, things like "listen..." and "What did you hear?" As expected, the man responds with visual verbs like "look" and "see".
I bring this up because Monk tonight points out that Wario sounds an awful lot like Strongbad. To which I carefully observe, "Yes, I see the family resemblance."
