The Other Side of the Same Coin

It amazes me how quickly we pick ourselves up, brush ourselves off, and sally forth as though nothing had ever happened.

And part of me realizes that I want nothing more for myself than this blessed ignorance. And another part of me just stands there open-mouthed and wonders, "What the fuck? Did nobody notice that? Not a single person? Fuck me, I give up."
