On Dumps

I took a really interesting dump this morning, and usually I talk to Monk about it, but he doesn't seem to be online right now.

I never know how big the dumps that I take are supposed to be. I imagine that a big dump is really good for just pulling out everything, but sometimes taking a small dump is a lot less aggravating and certainly less stressful for everyone involved. Sometimes, people have to pick your dumps apart and look at all the little bits and ask you questions about kernels and stuff.

I'll just hold onto this dump I took until I can put on somebody's plate and have them look at it.

(Poop jokes. Don't you just love software development?)
