15 Classic Literary Endings Spoiled For Your Enjoyment

I loved reading Woot's fifteen classic literary endings. It's just coincidence that I was talking with my coworker today about twists and endings to good movies. She likes cinema, in the sense that she pronounces "film" like it's spelled "feelm", and not just because of her accent. She brought up Road to Perdition. I asked her what it had that Leon lacked. That got us talking, eventually, about the cinematography in The Godfather and then to twists like those in The Usual Suspects, The Descent, and The Crying Game, which is a hard movie to describe to someone if you're not sure they've seen it. "North Ireland?" I asked weakly, in a poorly-thought-out attempt to gauge if she was familiar with the film. Bull's eye. Direct hit.

I'm going to miss our talks when we split up and move to a new office building next month.
