I Wanna Be The Guy: Finished on YouTube

Someone who isn't me has recorded himself completing I Wanna Be The Guy. Even getting to this point is a herculean undertaking considering that after about five minutes, the game crashes on me.

I'm only 80% convinced that this isn't an intentional aspect of gameplay.
