This is My Plan

Sorry about this, but, uh, you're the last to know. And I'm sorry that you had to find out this way. I've already told everybody else in person, so this is just to get you on the same page.

I turned in my two weeks' notice at work. They are desperate to keep me on-board as a part-time remote employee and gave me two weeks' of vacation instead of letting me finish my business there.

The final tally for moving my entire existence (or everything that remains of it, at least) to the other side of the continent? Under $2,500 + the cost of a one-way plane ticket.

Sold.

I leave at the end of the month. In my opinion, this cannot occur too soon.

No offense intended to any of my great, great friends here in Cleveland. I trust that you will accept I need to get the hell out of Dodge for a few decades.
