On Apples
When I think of apples, I think of two things.
One, I think of the apple orchard two towns over from where I grew up, and the joy I felt every autumn at pouring as much of their made-on-site cider down my throat as I could before the season ended.
Two, I think of Christopher Lee weirding it up with Edward Woodward in "The Wicker Man".
Today, instead of getting cookies with my lunch, or skipping on the cookies altogether like I've been doing, I knew that I would be getting hungry in the afternoon, so I got apple slices. They weren't bad, and still gave me something sweet to munch on until my hunger pangs subsided.
