Old code
Ernest Borgnine said it best in Gattaca: "Don't clean the windows too well. You don't want to see what's on the other side."
Today I'm reviewing some old Perl that I wrote last year, and there's not a lot that I would change in this code in terms of form or style. Now either this means that I've plateaued in my Perl-fu, or I just don't want to look harder at it and try to find any old bugs or serious style snafus. If I wrote this code today, it would look very much the same as it does now.
I'm not entirely sure that's a good thing, but I'm willing to bet that it is.
