On the new Battlestar Galactica

Don't watch it; don't remember much about the one episode I saw. People say this show is fantastic, but I don't have enough information to draw my own conclusion.

I will say, however, that I'm watching some episode right now, maybe it's the season premiere, where the cinematography during the chopstick/murder sequence alone is enough to make me say that Ronald D. Moore ain't no schmuck.

Don't plan on watching it from now on; don't plan on getting caught up anytime soon. I think the show looks good and has the trappings of being well put-together. But it's not my Battlestar, and unless The Sci-Fi Channel figures out a way to resurrect Lorne Greene, it ain't gonna be. They talk about minutes and months — not a centon in sight — and Starbuck, as I'm told, is a woman. She has a vagina and everything. That ain't right.

There's also the small matter of the Cylons not being, y'know, robots. Well, there are robots in this episode, so I guess they're learning. Next up? They ought to bring back the capes.

It's perfect & it brings me joi. So unless you are gonna start watching it from the beginning (a project I am more than willing to help you with at any given time). Be nice - & yeah u prolly watched the season premiere tonight. It is not the same olde Battlestar Galactica. If you really want to give it a chance you should think of it as a new series unrelated to the other -just uses some of the same language and some of a different.

I heart u anyway even if your taste in tv isn't always good.
