It's Tax Time. Again.
I just paid my taxes. I think. H & R Block makes it easier and cheaper every year. I don't mean to promote them, but I've used them for the last three years for my Federal return and I let them do my state return this year for free.
The catch is that you have to sell your soul to BankFirst in exchange for a Visa card in the amount of your refund. (This is slightly mitigated by the fact that you can have a pre-existing opt out policy courtesy of OptOutPreScreen.com and Paypal will allow you to turn your Visa card into actual money in your bank account. You know, if you like that sort of thing.)

In the interest of fairness, I should warn you that in exchange for being cheap, they might just do your taxes wrong. We used them a couple years ago, we paid for them, then we had to pay the city taxes they didn't tell us we owed, plus the penalty for lateness. Really, unless you've got something besides a regular income to account for, you're usually better off just filing your own 1040ez form.
If you're still paying off federal student loans, you really shouldn't be doing a 1040ez.
