In light of the enormously poor response to Hurricane Katrina, you'd think British actress Judi Dench would be a little more sensitive about saying things like this.

Except for the fact that she said this back in 1995 in the movie Goldeneye. Ooh. Prophetic, or simply aware of a pervasive complacency entrenched in every level of U.S. democracy?
