Unfathomable Stupidity

If I thought users could be stupid, programmers are certainly going to knock me on my ass. Just this minute I was adding some updates to a user's new PC, and the program prompted me with this little gem: "These updates have already been downloaded. Do you want to download them again?"

Now I ask you: what kind of moron would ask that question? Why would you even think of asking that question?
