Ultraviolet: Mini-series to Movie?

Is the British Ultraviolet mini-series finally going to make it to the silver screen? Looks like it. It already has Milla Jovovich in the cast. But the question to ask yourself is "Is it going to be better than the original?" The answer:

I don't remember.

So, yeah. I guess it would almost have to be better than an awkward, forgettable fore-runner that was plagued with horrendous pacing problems.
