New Codeville Release
Bram Cohen developed a kernel of an idea for a merge algorithm that eventually grew into the Codeville project, a Python + BerkeleyDB-based software package to create a distributed file revision control system. Most of the implementation gruntwork is done by friend/relative/who knows? Ross Cohen, who has (hopefully) learned to not let 5 months lapse between releases. This past weekend, true to his word, Ross pushed Codeville version 0.1.14 out to the world. While we were all home drinking our various nogs and wrapping perfunctory presents for distant relatives we see maybe twice a year or, I don't know, sharpening our Hanukkah candles or something, Ross was slaving away making this the best release yet.
I haven't tried it yet, but I think I know what I'm going to be doing tonight.
