Bad Omens

My trusty 128MB Sony USB thumb drive, which has broken on me three times but which has never actually, you know, not done its job, has stopped doing its job.

It was working OK on my iBook last night, but this morning I've got an XP system that can't recognize it, a Windows 2000 system that thinks its a "Security Device", and the iBook won't acknowledge it. I'm hoping against hope that it's just dirty connectors, but it may also be time to start looking for a new, more rugged removable storage solution.
