IRC Hunt

It's the day after Thanksgiving, so most people are poised to go out and hunt down bargains at every department store in the nation. Me? I'm looking for another IRC client.

I grew to love chatzilla, a Firefox IRC plugin. The problem is that I've now switched all my systems to Firefox 1.5RC3, which is incompatible with many plugins designed for Firefox 0.x and 1.x.

I've started trying out jIRCii, which seems really stable and looks like something out of 1995. I think I like it.

One of the other prospects is the IRC client built into Trillian, which I seem to remember trying once before and being less-than-enthused by it. It's time to re-evaluate.
