"I was just trying to expand the use of TV as a visual medium," says Joss Whedon about what has become one of his most acclaimed Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes, "Hush". It involves the denizens of Sunnydale being robbed of their voices and having to cope with the culprits in silence. There are no good quotes from the episode, for obvious reasons, but I remember a couple memorable gestures.
Good job, Joss. You did it.
"Hush" is going to be on FX next Monday at 7:00 AM. Set your VCRs accordingly.

He can pretend like he had this revolutionary idea, but he totally just stole the concept from the infamous silent issue of the G.I. Joe comic. This has no bearing on the quality of the episode, but he shouldn't pretend like this was an idea he just pulled out of the ether.
