I Disagree
No top five, all-time list of episodes of Buffy is complete without "The Body"; maybe "Doppelgangland"; the season one finale; or maybe the first Halloween episode, which I believe features my favorite thing Spike has ever, ever said: "This is...! This is... neat."

Five episodes is a fairly small subset for a such grand series, but off the top of my head, I'd probably have to go with:
1. Once More With Feeling
2. Dopplegangland
3. Hush
4. Becoming (both parts)
5. Amends
I know I'm kinda cheating on 4 there, but Becoming has two of my all time fav quotes, Part I having Whistler's 'Big Moments' speech, and Part II having Buffy's:
"I just lost a good friend tonight! I may lose more! The entire world is about to be sucked into hell, and you want my help 'cause your girlfriend's a big ho?!"
