Foreshadowing

First thing this morning, I deliver the backup tapes to the Finance department. First thing this morning, the woman to whom I hand them over stops me because she's having a problem with a website.

"It says I need Internet Explorer version 5.5 or better." She's running Windows XP. I show her how to check what version of IE she's using. Sure enough, it's version 6.

"Then why won't it work?" she asks. A second later, she answers her own question: "Ohhhh. I was doing it in Netscape."

It's gonna be a long day.
