The Darkest DVD I Own
My copy of The Innocents came in the mail today. It was delivered a few days ago, but my leasing office likes to sit on packages for a bit until they notify me they have them, then I have to wait until my day off to swing by and retrieve my property from them during their business hour.
It's a little like banking. "Thanks for giving us all your money. You can come by and take a little bit of it whenever it's convenient for us."
I knew it was waiting for me downstairs because last night it gave me nightmares, and let's face it: National Lampoon's Van Wilder may be bad, but it wasn't keep-you-up-at-night bad. I wonder if the gang will want to watch The Innocents during our party this weekend. I honestly don't know how well it will be received, given that it's a black and white gothic horror/suspense film from England, based on a book, and deliberately intended to have an ambiguous series of events. (Don't panic yet: it's not like Limbo.)
