Card Throwing: I Garr On Tee!
Wannabe Gambits of the world, take note: you can learn to throw cards on the Internet. I cannot vouch for the validity of the course, but I do know a thing or two about card-throwers.
Magician, writer, actor, super awesome guy, and Renaissance man Ricky Jay has written an unrelated book on this subject, Cards As Weapons, which you might be able to find if you look hard enough. I had the pleasure of watching Jay perform this trick on Late Night with Conan O'Brien a couple of years ago. He can actually put a card into a watermelon rind with little difficulty.
You may remember Ricky Jay as the twins from that one episode of The X-Files where the magician turned his head around 360 degrees. He was also the narrator for Magnolia who discusses the coincidental significance (the "apophenia", if you will) of Greenberry Hill. He also makes an appearance in the film as a producer on What Do Kids Know?. Is there nothing the man can't do?
