How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

Going through my inbox this morning, I see multiple e-mails that have been sent to me with the subject "Question". They are from different people and, naturally, involve different questions.

I wonder if these people have ever read "How to Ask Questions the Smart Way" by Eric S. Raymond. Choosing a vague subject like "Question" directly goes against the Use Meaningful, Specific Subject Headers rule.

Of course, I then realize that these people have certainly never read "How to Ask Questions the Smart Way" and I then go off to wonder if I could make them read it anyway. Perhaps at gunpoint.
