Binc Blinked

For reasons I will never understand, a serious problem that the Binc IMAP server software had reading an SSL cert inside a .pem file on Saturday has gone away. The basic rundown goes as follows:

Saturday: secure Binc will not parse the SSL file. I run the unencrypted Binc package from inside sslserver. This works, but is not the way I want it done.

Sunday: day off

Monday: play around with SSL certs a little more. Binc takes to them immediately, despite my thwarted attempts on Saturday to perform the exact same steps that work perfectly today.

I'm not going to ask a lot of questions. My mail is secure and that's good enough for me. I will not question the power that is Binc.

And now, it is time for me to attend my performance review.
