Spycam Force

Wired.com presents an article about Chicago's point-and-click narcotics squad. Worth a read. And then you might want to go out and rent Enemy of the State, or if you're in the mood for an espionage classic, try the also-has-Gene Hackman-in-it film The Conversation.

I'm torn over this: I support police surveillance in the sense that is it much safer than undercover work, cost effective, and great for presenting ironclad cases to a grand jury. Then again, this whole thing smacks of Big Brother, and that way lies a giant TV in your house telling you when to exercise.
