Official Mozilla BitTorrents

When Firefox 1.0.1 came out, I tried downloading it from the link I was provided: getfirefox.com. After enduring about twenty seconds of an insanely poor transfer speed, I realized that The Mozilla Foundation's servers were getting hammered harder than a three-penny nail. Rebuffed, I decided to cool my jets for the evening and wait to download it again the following day.

What a fool I was. Shortly after giving up on the getfirefox method, I discovered that Mozilla has gone to the trouble of making official Mozilla BitTorrents available. Thank you, Mozilla. With BitTorrent, high demand for a particular file is a good thing.

Thus equipped, I had two copies of Firefox 1.0.1 (for Win32 and OSX) inside of 60 seconds. That was 37 hours ago, and I've been seeding them ever since.
