This is the Weather of the End of Days
This morning the temperature outside was in the 60s. I walked to work with my coat completely unzipped. Remember now: this is Cleveland, Ohio. In the middle of January. By 5 PM, it was raining and a heavy fog was rolling through the city about thirty feet above the ground. At 11:30 PM, we found that the rain had turned to snow. In the span of six hours, the National Weather Service has recorded a maximum temperature of 73 degrees and a minimum temperature of 41 degrees. In twenty-four hours, high of 73, low of 35.1.
I'm not the first to remark on the topic, but this is some seriously wacky weather. I predict a hail of frogs is next.
