Using pkgsrc on systems other than NetBSD

I'm putting this here as a public notice that I'm going to try to use pkgsrc, as it may be suitable for a new need I have developed. Certain people are welcome to poke me with a proverbial stick to assure I actually do more than install it, stare at the file tree, and then declare it utter crap.
